To create a room, open the app and tap the "+ Create Room" button. You will be prompted to configure the room name, description, radius, and an optional password for access control. Once created, you can customize additional settings including room wallpaper, content guidelines (allowed and disallowed topics), and upgrade the room to Premium status for enhanced features.

Ensure that location services are enabled for Yappening in your device settings. If there are no active rooms in your area, you have the opportunity to create the first one and start building your local community.

To upgrade to Premium, navigate to your profile by tapping the profile icon, then select "Upgrade to Premium". You can choose between a monthly or annual subscription plan. Annual subscriptions offer significant savings compared to paying monthly.

Yes, you can request account deletion through our Data Deletion page or by contacting support. All your data will be permanently removed.

To report inappropriate content, long-press any message and select "Report". You can also report entire rooms directly from the room listing view. Reports can be directed to room admins and moderators for immediate action, or to our moderation team for platform-level review. All reports submitted to our team are reviewed within 24 hours.

Yes, we only use your location to show nearby rooms. We never share your exact location with other users or third parties.
